What To Expect During Our Treatments
Water Your Lawn
- When to Water: Water your lawn within 24 hours after fertilization in cooler months.
- In the summer Months (May-Sept) please water your lawn the night it gets fertilized.
- How much water: Most lawns are bluegrass and require about ½” of water to help activate the fertilizer and allow nutrients to soak into the soil.
Avoid Mowing Right Away
- Wait at least 24 to 48 hours before mowing your lawn. This allows the fertilizer to settle and prevents disrupting its absorption.
- If you must mow shortly after fertilization, avoid using a bagger so nutrients can stay on the grass.
Limit Foot Traffic
- Keep Kids and pets off the grass for at least 4-6 hours or until the fertilizer is dry.
- This minimizes the chance of tracking fertilizer indoors or unevenly spreading chemicals across your lawn.
Monitor Your Lawn
- Over the next few days, keep an eye on your grass for signs of activation into the grass and its effect on the weeds. If you notice any signs of dry grass or brown grass its MOST likely lack of water or pour coverage on the irrigation.
Practice Safety
- If you or your pets were on the lawn before it dried. Simply rinse feet, hands, paws or anything that came in contact with the fertilizer.

- Keep your lawn on a consistent watering, mowing, and fertilizing schedule to maintain its health and appearance.
- The key to a healthy lush lawn is consistency of fertilizer, water, seasonal aeration and sharp lawn mower blades.
